Rackable Systems introduces ICE Cube™, a self-contained, fully portable data center featuring extreme server and storage density with highly efficient cooling and easy serviceability. Based on Rackable Systems’ award winning Concentro™ modular data center design — first deployed in March, 2007 — this newest generation of the Integrated Concentro Environment (ICE) features nearly 20% greater density levels, a broader choice of container sizes and configurability of Rackable Systems’ Eco-Logical™ servers and storage, as well as more rapid production times.
